In late 2010, I left the West Coast and moved to Toronto, as I was offered a MuchMusic VJ position (live television host) on Canada's largest music-television network. I was assigned to host MuchMusic's flagship show, New.Music.Live.
My VJ responsibilities included interviewing world-renowned musical acts, hosting live concerts, introducing newly released music videos to the MuchMusic following, creating online content, continuous engagement with the fanbase, etc.
My experience at MuchMusic was unlike any other. I consider myself lucky to have played a part in one of Canada's most iconic brands and a lead influencer in the country's music culture.
My VJ experience allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of both the television and music industries, ultimately leading me to develop and launch New Music Channel, a 24hr music television network made available to over 22 million homes across the United States (for more on that, head to NMC in my Corporate section).
